Transportation

(A) from the airport

Nagoya airport - JR Kachigawa station:
Taxi (20min., 2,000yen) or bus (1 service per hour)
JR Kachigawa station - JR Tajimi station:
JR chuo-line (bound for Tajimi/Tokishi/Mizunami/Nakatsugawa/Nagiso, Track No. 1, 25 min., 400yen)
JR Tajimi-station - NIFS: Bus (15min., 340 yen) or taxi (2,000yen)

(B) from the Shinkansen (Bullet train) arrival point

JR Nagoya station - JR Tajimi-station:
JR chuo-line (Track No.7 or 8 or 10, 45 min., 650 yen)
JR Tajimi-station - NIFS:
Bus (15min., 340 yen) or taxi(2,000yen)

JR Tajimi-station - NIFS

There is a direct public bus service (340yen) from Tajimi station to NIFS at 8:05 and 8:30 am in the morning only on weekdays. Please take the bus for "Kenkyu Gakuen Toshi Center" at the No. 3 bus stop in front of LOTTERIA (a fast food restaurant). In case the bus is full, you are recommended to take a taxi, because the bus service to NIFS is not frequent.

On Saturday and Sunday (July 31(Sat)) there is no direct public bus to/from NIFS. From NIFS, you have a 15 min. walk down the hill to the bus stop "Kotani guchi" from which there is a public bus service to Tajimi station.
